Good and Bad Memories

One of the amazing things about the human, that he can remind most the events or moments in their life. The memories can came in different forms. Some of these moments or events are good and the human wish if it is happening again. Otherwise, some events people are hate thinking about it. The worst memories are which effect at the persons and make their life disaster. Nightmare is another way that reminds people about bad memories. In my life, all my memories usually related to something. First, some of my memories related to place. For example, I have bad memories about the United States before I came to here. Also, my grandmother still did not know until this moment I am here in the United States. Because my father died here, all my family was against to complete my study in the United States. My grandmother have a bad feeling if I study here I will died. Second, some memories related to song. I have a nice story was happen to me that related to song. When I was in California I met a nice American girl and she listen to Arabic song. She loved the rhythm of the song and told me to translate the words of the song. I stayed for six hours using my dictionary trying to translate every word in the song. The song was very romantic and talked about leaving the friends to another town. Before I leaved California, she sent the song to me by e-mail. I was shocked how she could find it and I remember her each time I listen to this music. In conclusion, I hope for any persons to have more good memories than bad memories.

Delicious Arabic Food

To tell the truth, I like several varieties of food. My first food choice often is “Falafel”. Today, I am going to tell you about this food. It's so delicious. I like it because it is healthy and easy to make and cook especially here in the United States. Also, you can eat it at any time, breakfast, lunch, or dinner. It is made of beans, which is a famous vegetable in the United States, but, it is not good for people who have allergy to beans. In order to make it, first you have to put the beans in water and leave it for twenty four hours. Then, you should take out the beans and grind them with a special tool until it becomes like dough. After that, you would add the salt, black pepper, coriander and parsley together. Then, in the small kitchen piece, you put this dough into vegetable oil in a cocker. Now, “Falafel” is ready to be eaten with some tomatoes and onion to decorate the plate. This kind of food is popular in Syria and Jordan. Now, it has become famous in Saudi Arabia more and more. In addition, many big and small restaurants serve Falafel and people like it a lot.

Do Not Stay Alone

In life, people encounter many events. Some of these events make them happy; otherwise, some events make them sad. People have different reactions to these events. Our religion taught us how to deal with any disasters and decrease the influence of these disasters. Also, how people work as group and how they help each others. In my society, people usually close to each others. Also, they feel about their friends, families, and neighbors and chare with them their problems. Really, we cannot leave someone stay alone except if we know why he do that. This reason makes suicide rare in our society not like other cultures. Also, people become friendlier and try to produce the assistance all the time. I think I have different reactions with my issues. If I have some troubles with my mother for instance than I just go to my bedroom and sleep for three or four hours. Moreover, if the issue in my work then I stay with my friends and discuss with them the situations. Sometimes, I have been in bad mood, so I like to ride my car to the desert and listen to classic music to find solution for what I think about. In fact, I am a person like to be between other people. Since, I came to the United States everything is change. I usually stay alone for long time because we have a lot of assignments. In addition, I came here to improve my ability in English and develop my basic skills. Now, I usually write my secret diary when I remember my family and miss them. This is in a brief my experiences and my opinions about be alone.

Yes We Can

“We can make change”, that was slogan of Obama campaign. I like this slogan because it means that people can make their destiny. The election is something strange in our country. I enjoyed watching elections in 2000 and 2004, but in 2008 I was in the event. I wanted to see how the Americans can choose their president. One of the interesting things about the election is that some Americans ignored me when I asked them about who they would choose and gave diplomatic answers. I had to follow-up each step for Obama from the beginning. I had huge confidence that Obama will be the president from the beginning. He has all the characteristics of a successful leader. I like all his speeches. He has a special way to convince people. The amazing thing about this election was Obama, the first American African candidate for the United States president, that he had all huge support from people and got a lot of money. I was wondering whether he would lose after spending all this money. I like his choice for the running mate. I think Biden was a great choice from Obama. The attack advertising was great idea to get more voters. Obama faced a lot of difficulties, but he faced bravery. The last day in the election before the polling hours were scary. I was watching the news and tried to find any information that showed who won. November 4, 2008 was the day of the change for the United States.

My Dream

Each person has one or more dreams that he try in many ways to meet. Some of them are easy to get and some of them are hard. When I was a child, I had a big dream that I wanted to be a surgery. My mother was proud of me because of my dream. I wanted to protect any children from losing their father. I was suffering a lot from losing my father because my father dead when I was a child. When I played with the other children I liked to portray a surgery. It was a great feeling. However, the fate was stop in my way. Since, I graduated from the high school. I applied to the medicine university in my city. The challenge was the university just accepted 200 students each year and had difficult test to join this university. I tried to pass the test, but I failed. I was sad because I lost two things the opportunity to help the people from losing someone they love and making my mother keep proud about me.
Next, I was adult, so I was looking for realistic dream. The second dream was a successful businessman. I chose the prince Alwaleed Bin Talal as role model. Also, I put his picture in every place in my room. I started my first step to make the dream in 1998. I opened a small store to sell cellular phones and Accessories of the cellular phones. The second big jump was investing my money in new business in Saudi Arabia that was advertising. I started with four employees and rented digital printing machine. Now, I owner a small company, which called Dimensions advertising, that have 28 employees and two branches. I had a big fear before I came to the United States, because there was no one can manage the company after I left. My uncle learned the work very fast and he control every thing. My last dream is to find beautiful girls that respect me and the marriage life. I hope from God to give me long time to accomplish my entire dream.

Learning by Technology
Internet is the famous way that has a huge influence on learning technology. In the internet, millions of web sites are providing many ways that help you to learn English. It is really amazing that you get lessons about any subject for free. The advantages you can get from learning by using technology are numerous. First, an intelligent class is helping the teachers to support his idea and make teaching easier. For example, some teachers use internet to find video aids for a specific subject. Also, teachers are facing some problems to explain some information to the students, so watching movies make the vision clear for the students. I believe the effect of eyes more than listening. Second, free electronic dictionaries one of the ways that make me save money. I do not need to carry the soft dictionaries or portable dictionary. Third, some websites provide some section that helps to improve your skills such as reading, writing, listening, and grammar. I hope the technology improves more to make learning English easier.

Fishing Farms

In “Fish farms drive wild salmon populations toward extinction” the author states the reason for the decrease in the wild salmon population and driving them to extinction because of the spread of sea lice in fish farms. The author says that sea lice may terminate the salmon life during four years or at least in a couple of generations. Moreover, the author points out those sea lice infect the youngest salmon in the fish farm so that it causes death for these juvenile salmon. In addition, the author mentions that the fears of net pen aquacultures are increased and how they affect other species. The author explains how the sea lice are transferring into the salmon’s skin in the ocean. Also, the author asserts that the youngest salmon are affected by the wild salmon, which have sea lice that come from the ocean to the fish farms. Furthermore, the author states that the number of salmon increased and sea lice decreased, if the fish farms on the migration path are closed for that time. The author explains how to solve the sea lice infestation in two ways: move to new farms far away from the river and close the fish farm completely from other wild salmon.

It is apparent that the author’s opinion is wrong in this article. The author is relating all salmon problems to the fish farms. Fish farms are one of the best solutions that we have these days. All the problems that the author mentions can be handled in different ways. For example, any disease can be cured by scientists, or they can isolate the salmon who have sea lice. The author should focus on the big problem such as global warming and how the fish farm will help in it. Using fish farms would help to reduce the effect of global warming, sickness, and enemies.

The primary reason that people should tend to use the fish farm is the effect of the global warming. The fish farm is an artificial environment built by human beings, so they can control everything inside the farm. Moreover, global warming increases the temperature of the earth, but because of this farm, they can control the temperature of the farm and make it appropriate for the salmon. Also, they can separate the salmon from the external environment if there is a serious threat from the global warming. They also can increase the number of salmon in the farm if there is more demand for salmon because of the decline in other resources of food. Thus, fish farm is a good solution to reduce the threat of global warming.

Moreover, we can learn to overcome the diseases that are affecting wild and farm salmon. The scientists should make many experiences in the salmon to fight all the sickness that make the salmon exposed to extinction. In addition, the United States and Canada are two of the big countries that consume the salmon in the world, so they have to spend some of their budget to conserve this important resource. Government must involve and regulate the amount of fish inside the fish farm. This regulation will help to get rid of the stricken fish. The youngest salmon should be put in net pen aquacultures to protect them from the illnesses found in the adult salmon and be fed the necessary food. Therefore, people have to use the fish farm wisely to protect their salmon from disease.

Finally, keeping the salmon away from all the perils is the third reason we should use the fish firm. Scientists and companies who take care of this invention should find new solution to raise a small fish farm in every home. Cheap and accessible fish farms will eliminate the illegal fishing. Fish Farm aids to catch other fish that depend on salmon to get their food, especially seals. Also, people should save the salmon from some animals such as bears and wolves. Choosing the suitable environment helps the salmon to make proliferation in large amount without any disturbance. Thus, fish farm protects the salmon from their enemy.

Global warming, illness, and foes are three reasons that make the fish farm the best place to protect salmon from extinction. We should take the extinction of salmon seriously because many poor people will depend for their food on salmon. Also, the whole world must spend more money to find more inventions to encounter the global warming, pollution, and random fishing to keep fish from extinction. It is difficult to clean up the rivers and oceans, so government should support this kind of inventions. We ought to treat the issue seriously; otherwise, we might lose the delicious taste of salmon.
