Mazen vs. Movie

When I was child. I like all cartoons made by Walt Disney. I enjoyed watching with my brothers and sisters. My favorite carton was Alaa Aldeen .It was an amazing cartoon because I want to be Alaa and found the gold. Also, there are many cartons that I like to watch such as Tom & jerry and Pink Panther. In my country, there are not any movie making. Even though our government does not support movie making, there are many single attempt to make movie. Most people in my country prefer the Egyptians and Indian movies because it is near to our culture. I ride to another country called Bahrain to watch the newest movie to see but I enjoyed how they make the movies. I usually watch action and romantic and all the other kind of movies. My favorite movie is Troy. I watched this movie fourteen times and I did not feel bored. In this movie, I like many character especially Achilles and the beautiful Helen.

My favorite drinks

In fact, I am addicted. It is truth because I spend an average of $7 in Starbucks every day. I cannot imagine a day without drinking a cup of coffee from Starbucks. They should give my award for that. It is disappointing. When I wake up just think about a cup of coffee. Although coffee is affecting our brain, health, and mood, I will still the number one fan of coffee.

My favorite coffee is Frappachino. Also, I like to taste other flavor such as Carmel michchitos, White chocolate mocha, Espresso, and Café late. I often dream about many things but my favorite dream was becoming the owner of Starbucks.

In my country, we have a different kind of coffee. It is called “Arabic Coffee”. This coffee often put in special teapot that called “Dallah”. At home, people always serve Arabic coffee and tea to their guests, it is tradition. Arabic coffee has different flavor depend on their taste. Also, we use the Chinese products of tea (Red and Green), but I prefer the green tea. I usually drink it after dinner. It is delicious. I learned how to make coffee from my grandmother who is addicted to Arabic coffee. In my opinion, my grandmother has one of the highest Caffeine rate in her blood in the world, so she should be recorded in Guinness World Records.

My super Dish

To tell the truth, I like all kind of food. My number one food is “Kabsa”. This is the traditional food in my country. It contains of rice, meat, and spicy. The meat can be as a chicken, a fish, a beef, and a lamb. Kabsa has different ways to be cooked. For example, in India, they put a lot of spicy in the rice, but in my country we do not. Actually, Kabsa with lamb is my super dish. I like to eat it three times a week, but some people eat it twice in a day. Kabsa is the main food that you will see in every occasion in my country. I missed this food here in the United States because this type of food cannot be seen in any restaurant.

Classic Music

I liked misic when i was child. I had many posters for many of my favourite singers. My favourite music was arabic music. Music usually help my to be seccessful and enjoyable my life. When I came to the United States the first type of music that I was listen to is country music. I feel like I am riding a horse,wearing a Texas hat, and living in a farm. Then, I am listening to different type of music such as POP, Rap, Classic, and Rock. I havechoosen the Classic music . This type of music is helpful to relax and make my apartment peaceful. Also, classic music is help me to get sleep. In addition, it is helpful to consaderation while I am studying and get high score. This my feeling when I listen to nice classic music.

My initial reaction

Actually, I did not believe that my dream to study in the United States when I was child will happen. I faced a lot of objection from the family especially my mother. The reason for my mother objection was because my father died in the United States 26 years ago. She did not want me to face the same destiny. I tried a lot to explain to her my view point, but she did not want to hear for me any things. I decided to cancel this trip because I did not want my mother became sad because of me. Before I cancelled the trip my mother came to me and told me she approved it. I was very exciting because my mother was not sad. Then, I was nervous because I did not have time to find admission. Next, I searched looking for a proper university that was in a nice state with a nice weather. Finally, I was afraid from the immigration in the airport and how the American citizens think about the Middle East.
